Empowering informal workers through financial literacy, health awareness, and government schemes.
Labour Rights & Women’s Welfare

Women laborers receive training on health, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and government welfare schemes strengthening their resilience, safety, and economic security.
The Workers Education program focuses on strengthening unorganized women workers by increasing their awareness, knowledge, and participation in socio-economic development. Through targeted training sessions on health, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy, WEEDS equips women with essential skills to improve their livelihoods and overall wellbeing. These trainings are conducted in collaboration with the National Board for Workers Education and Development.
In addition to capacity-building, WEEDS supports unorganized women workers in accessing government welfare schemes. By facilitating their enrollment under the Tamil Nadu Unorganized Workers Welfare Board, we help ensure that women receive the benefits, support, and social protection they are entitled to.
We support informal women workers such as domestic workers, construction labourers, and street vendors by helping them access government welfare schemes under the Unorganised Workers Welfare Board. Through awareness, registration support, and facilitation, we enable women across three districts to secure social protection, benefits, and entitlements that improve their livelihood security and overall well-being.
