WEEDS works closely with low-income communities, where school and college dropouts are alarmingly high. Poverty remains the biggest barrier when families struggle to meet daily needs, a child’s education becomes secondary. The COVID-19 pandemic further pushed many students out of school, widening the gap.
 

To break this cycle, WEEDS identifies deserving students from financially vulnerable backgrounds including children from single-parent households, guardianship care, and below-poverty-line families and provides the financial assistance they need to continue their studies without interruption.
