Computer Literacy Training
Building digital skills and confidence among rural students through hands-on computer education.
Children’s Education

WEEDS establishes computer labs and digital literacy sessions that equip rural students with essential 21st-century skills for education and future careers.
WEEDS improves digital access for rural children by setting up computer labs and delivering life-skills training in underserved government schools. Many schools in Kancheepuram District lacked basic computer facilities, leaving students especially children of SHG women without essential 21st-century skills.
With CSR support, WEEDS established fully equipped computer labs in three Government Middle Schools (Athanacherry, Karasangal, and Kovur) and appointed a dedicated instructor to teach both computer literacy and life skills for students in grades 6–8.
This program expands digital learning, builds confidence, and empowers rural children with the skills needed for future education and career opportunities.
